Burlesque were founded in 2003 and are a collective of accomplished musicians from different generations and musical backgrounds plus energetic and extremely talented male and female lead vocalist’s from different backgrounds and eras that all came together with a single purpose, to use our vast and varied experience to become the best all-round party and function band based in the north east of Scotland at the present time! 

Using our vast experience (see profile) we have worked extremely hard to create a danceable and visual show were we perform a great selection songs from the sixties to the present day, notice that I said perform not just play!

This is “due to our experience” we also change our stage clothes for each set and make the best use of our extensive stage lighting and top of the range P.A. system, we even play CDs through the P.A. system during our breaks if required!

We know how best to use our top of the range equipment to create the correct sound and feel for each particular song, enabling us to accompany one or both of our lead vocalist’s as they perform an outstanding version of each song “as you can see and hear by following the links on this site”!

We only use top of the range professional equipment when performing to ensure that the audience have a truly enjoyable audio-visual experience!
